Protection against chaotic add-ons

Recovery Mode in BackFuture AI: Recovery Management for Problematic Trade Groups

Recovery Mode is a recovery-management mode that turns on when a trade or a group of trades enters a difficult situation. Its purpose is not to panic and not to buy blindly, but to manage the position according to separate, stricter rules.

In crypto trading, a common situation happens: the bot opens a trade, price moves against the position, the system makes several add-ons, and then the market becomes unstable. If the bot continues buying without control, risk and deposit load can grow too much.

Recovery Mode brings order: the old group is managed separately, new entries are checked separately, and add-ons are allowed only under strict conditions.

When a group can move into Recovery Mode

Example situation

Suppose the bot opened an ETH/USDT LONG at 3,000. Then price decreased. At every stage the system checks whether a new add-on improves the average price and whether it is inside an allowed zone.

PriceSituationSystem action
3,000First entryGroup opened
2,850Allowed zoneAdd-on may be allowed
2,700Deeper drawdownRisk and margin are checked
2,900Recovery startedThe system checks whether a new add-on would worsen the average

In ordinary logic, the bot might buy again. BackFuture AI should ask: is this truly useful or is it just buying higher after a drawdown? If the purchase worsens the average price and is not in the zone, it can be blocked.

What Recovery Mode does

Recovery Mode and Separate Connection

In PRO logic, a separate connection can be used for new groups. This is useful when an old group is not closed yet, but the market already produced a new strong signal.

For example: an old BTC/USDT group is in Recovery Mode. A new signal shows a separate trend. The system does not add to the old group. The new idea can be opened through a separate connection, sub-account or another exchange, while the old group continues waiting for its exit, TP or another approved condition.

This is important because on the exchange a position can look like one position, but inside the system the group logic must remain separate. Otherwise it becomes unclear which part belongs to the old drawdown and which part belongs to the new scenario.

Statuses that can be shown to the user

StatusMeaning
NormalThe group works in normal mode.
Waiting for zoneThe system waits for the next allowed add-on zone.
Recovery ModeThe group is in recovery mode and requires cautious logic.
Add-on blockedThe add-on is blocked because it worsens the average or violates rules.
Margin limitThe margin limit for the group or strategy has been reached.
Separate ConnectionA new group can open separately without mixing with the old one.
Waiting for TPThe system waits for the exit price or partial close.

Conclusion

Recovery Mode makes trading more manageable. It does not remove risk and does not guarantee profit, but it helps the system avoid unnecessary actions during difficult market moments. For the user, this means more transparency: they can see why the bot did not add, why a group is waiting and when a separate scenario may be safer.
