Recovery Mode in BackFuture AI: Recovery Management for Problematic Trade Groups
Recovery Mode is a recovery-management mode that turns on when a trade or a group of trades enters a difficult situation. Its purpose is not to panic and not to buy blindly, but to manage the position according to separate, stricter rules.
In crypto trading, a common situation happens: the bot opens a trade, price moves against the position, the system makes several add-ons, and then the market becomes unstable. If the bot continues buying without control, risk and deposit load can grow too much.
When a group can move into Recovery Mode
- Price moved strongly against the open position.
- The number of add-ons reached or approached the limit.
- A large part of the allowed margin is already used.
- New signals can worsen the average price.
- The market entered an uncertain state.
- The user selected a cautious behavior mode after drawdown.
Example situation
Suppose the bot opened an ETH/USDT LONG at 3,000. Then price decreased. At every stage the system checks whether a new add-on improves the average price and whether it is inside an allowed zone.
| Price | Situation | System action |
|---|---|---|
| 3,000 | First entry | Group opened |
| 2,850 | Allowed zone | Add-on may be allowed |
| 2,700 | Deeper drawdown | Risk and margin are checked |
| 2,900 | Recovery started | The system checks whether a new add-on would worsen the average |
In ordinary logic, the bot might buy again. BackFuture AI should ask: is this truly useful or is it just buying higher after a drawdown? If the purchase worsens the average price and is not in the zone, it can be blocked.
What Recovery Mode does
- Blocks chaotic add-ons. A new signal is not executed automatically if it worsens the situation.
- Keeps the old group separate. A problematic group is not mixed with a new trading idea.
- Controls margin. The system checks how much capital is already involved and whether it is possible to add more.
- Waits for the correct condition. It can be Take Profit, a new zone, a manual decision or a separate connection.
Recovery Mode and Separate Connection
In PRO logic, a separate connection can be used for new groups. This is useful when an old group is not closed yet, but the market already produced a new strong signal.
For example: an old BTC/USDT group is in Recovery Mode. A new signal shows a separate trend. The system does not add to the old group. The new idea can be opened through a separate connection, sub-account or another exchange, while the old group continues waiting for its exit, TP or another approved condition.
This is important because on the exchange a position can look like one position, but inside the system the group logic must remain separate. Otherwise it becomes unclear which part belongs to the old drawdown and which part belongs to the new scenario.
Statuses that can be shown to the user
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Normal | The group works in normal mode. |
| Waiting for zone | The system waits for the next allowed add-on zone. |
| Recovery Mode | The group is in recovery mode and requires cautious logic. |
| Add-on blocked | The add-on is blocked because it worsens the average or violates rules. |
| Margin limit | The margin limit for the group or strategy has been reached. |
| Separate Connection | A new group can open separately without mixing with the old one. |
| Waiting for TP | The system waits for the exit price or partial close. |
Conclusion
Recovery Mode makes trading more manageable. It does not remove risk and does not guarantee profit, but it helps the system avoid unnecessary actions during difficult market moments. For the user, this means more transparency: they can see why the bot did not add, why a group is waiting and when a separate scenario may be safer.
